Regular Season Round 10: Samsung Th. - SK Knights 75-74

The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked SK Knights (8-4) in Seoul on Thursday night. Visitors were edged by ninth ranked Samsung Th. (5-8) 75-74. Strangely SK Knights outrebounded Samsung Th. 46-31 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American center Isaiah Hicks (206-94, college: UNC) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Si-Rae Kim (179-89) chipped in 4 points and 11 assists during the contest. At the losing side American center Jameel Warney (203-94, college: Stony Brook) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds and the former international Joon-Young Choi (200-94) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Samsung Th. maintains ninth position with 5-8 record. SK Knights at the other side still keep top place with four games lost. They share the position with Goyang Orions. Samsung Th. are looking forward to face higher ranked KCC Egis (#6) in Jeonju in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. SK Knights will play on the road against DB Promy (#5) in Wonju and are hoping to win this game.
