But LG Sakers were not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Busan 92-76 on Monday night. Guard Jeong-Won Jung (178-93) fired 29 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Mike Myers (206-92, college: UMES, agency: Network Sports International) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-92, college: MSU) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and the former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-91) added 18 points and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for lost side. Five KT Sonicboom and four LG Sakers players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. KT Sonicboom will meet at home KoGas in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. LG Sakers will play against DB Promy and hope to win that game.
