SK Knights outrebounded Samsung Th. 47-31 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American center Jameel Warney (203-94, college: Stony Brook) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Sunh-Yung Kim (187-88) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. American center Isaiah Hicks (206-94, college: UNC) responded with 22 points and 9 rebounds and the former international center Jun-Yl Kim (202-92) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Defending champion moved-up to eighth place, which they share with DB Promy. Loser Samsung Th. keeps the seventh position with 27 games lost. SK Knights will face league's leader KCC Egis in Jeonju in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
