Rather expected game in Seoul where 9th ranked DB Promy (15-25) was defeated by seventh ranked Samsung Th. (18-22) 77-72. Samsung Th. players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The former international center Jun-Yl Kim (202-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. The former international point guard Si-Rae Kim (179-89) contributed with 11 points and 8 assists for the winners. American forward Yante Maten (203-96, college: Georgia) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import forward Justin Knox (206-89, college: UNC) added 14 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for DB Promy. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Samsung Th. maintains seventh place with 18-22 record. DB Promy at the other side keeps the ninth position with 25 games lost. Samsung Th.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Seoul SK Knights.
