Third ranked Goyang Orions (21-15) crushed at home 10th ranked LG Sakers (12-25) by 21 points 118-97, which is the biggest margin this round on Wednesday night. Goyang Orions outrebounded LG Sakers 39-25 including 25 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Goyang Orions looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by LG Sakers' players. Worth to mention a quality performance of American forward Dedric Lawson (206-97, college: Kansas) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and the former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-90, college: BYU-Hawaii) who added 14 points and 8 assists during the contest. Goyang Orions' coach Byong-Chul Kim felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international point guard Si-Rae Kim (179-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 assists and American power forward Leon Williams (203-86, college: Ohio) scored 23 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Goyang Orions maintains third position with 21-15 record having five points less than leader KCC Egis. LG Sakers lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 25 games lost. Goyang Orions will face again bottom-ranked LG Sakers (#10) in Changwon in the next round and are hoping to win another game. LG Sakers will play at home against ET Land and hope to win that game.
