No shocking result in a game when second ranked Anyang KGC (16-11) beat at home 8th ranked SK Knights (12-16) 93-85. American power forward Latavious Williams (203-89, agency: BeoBasket) stepped up and scored 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners and the former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-87) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). At the losing side American center Jameel Warney (203-94, college: Stony Brook) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import Nick Minnerath (207-88, college: Detroit) scored 21 points. Five Anyang KGC and four SK Knights players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anyang KGC maintains second place with 16-11 record having just three points less than leader KCC Egis. Defending champion SK Knights keep the eighth position with 16 games lost. Anyang KGC will play against Goyang Orions (#4) in Daegu in the next round. SK Knights will play on the road against LG Sakers (#9) in Changwon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
