Regular Season Round 7: Al Wehda - Al Hilal 78-80

The most shocking disappointment of round 7 in the SBL was only two-point a home defeat of 6th ranked Al Wehda (3-4) to seventh ranked Al Hilal (4-3) 80-78. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for power forward Clinton Chapman (208-1989, college: Texas) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Mark Lyons (185-1989, college: Arizona) helped adding 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. At the losing side guard Brian Halums (196-1997, college: UAFS) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds and forward Justin Everett (206-1996, college: Humboldt St.) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Defending champion moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Al Ittihad. Al Wehda at the other side dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Al Hilal is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Al-Taawon (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al Wehda will play against Al Fateh (#3) and is hoping to win this game.
