Regular Season Round 3: Al Ansar - Al Wehda 67-61

Al Ansar used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Mecca 67-61 on Monday night. Al Ansar forced 24 Al Wehda turnovers. It was a great evening for Libyan point guard Mohameed Elsadi (190-95) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 8 rebounds. American-Armenian center Todd OBrien (211-89, college: UAB) helped adding 18 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American-Bahrain Wayne Chism (206-87, college: Tennessee) with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Egyptian guard Ramy Gunday (185-81) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Al Ansar will meet Al Fateh (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Al Wehda will play against Al Hilal and hope to win that game.
