There was no surprise in Riyadh where 9th ranked Al Nahda (4-14) was defeated by fourth ranked Al Hilal (13-5) 97-84 on Thursday. Al Hilal dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Al Nahda's 34. Al Hilal forced 19 Al Nahda turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for international center Mohammed Alsuwailem (211-98) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 21 rebounds. American swingman Dominique Sutton (198-86, college: NCCU) helped adding 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Al Hilal's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Jordan Washington (203-93, college: Iona) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 18 rebounds and Turkish Ozan Akyildiz (-87) scored 16 points. Five Al Hilal and four Al Nahda players scored in double figures. Al Hilal maintains fourth place with 13-5 record. Al Nahda lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Al Ansar.
