The most exciting game of round 23 in the D1 took place in Doha. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Al Ahli (6-3) to eighth ranked Qatar Club (3-7) 78-75 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Al Ahli. It was a great evening for Senegalese center Oumar Seck (208-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Qatar Club moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Al Khor. Al Ahli at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. They share it with Al Shamal. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
