Qatar Club's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Al Sadd (2-2) 93-89. Qatar Club made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Qatar Club outrebounded Al Sadd 41-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Jordan Washington (203-93, college: Iona, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 18 rebounds. Senegalese center Oumar Seck (208-88) helped adding 19 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists. American guard Byron Ashe (186-95, college: Longwood) responded with a triple-double by scoring 26 points, 12 rebounds and 15 assists and international forward Babacar Dieng (197-97) scored 20 points and 5 assists. Four Al Sadd players scored in double figures. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. Qatar Club (1-4) left bottom position moving up to eighth place. Al Sadd at the other side dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
