Semi-Finals Game 3: Meralco Bolts - TNT Tropang 75-77

Giga made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. Strangely Bolts outrebounded Giga 53-40 including 39 on the defensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by Bolts helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for guard Rey Nambatac (179-1994) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Calvin-John Oftana (195-1996) helped adding 15 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American center Marvin Jones (213-1993, college: Texas Southern) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds and guard Chris Newsome (187-1990, college: Georgetown, KY) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
