Giga was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. American center Marvin Jones (213-1993, college: Texas Southern) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Chris Newsome (187-1990, college: Georgetown, KY) supported him with 24 points. Four Bolts players scored in double figures. Even 27 points by Roger Ray Pogoy (189-1992) did not help to save the game forGiga . Forward Calvin-John Oftana (195-1996) added 22 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
