StrangelyBeermen outrebounded Kings 55-41 including a 30-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Beermen 's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kings made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Scottie Thompson (188-1993) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Guard Jayson David (188-1996) contributed with 12 points and 7 assists for the winners. Five Kings players scored in double figures. Center June Mar Fajardo (210-1989) replied with 9 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Jaymar Perez (188-1993) added 22 points in the effort for Beermen. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
