Semi-Finals Game 6: Ginebra Kings - SM Beermen 88-87

Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Scottie Thompson (188-1993) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Johnny Abarrientos (173-1970) chipped in 12 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was center June Mar Fajardo (210-1989) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and forward John Rodney Brondial (196-1990) added 12 points and 12 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively. Five Kings and four Beermen players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
