Quarter-Finals Round 1: TNT Tropang - Ginebra Kings 92-104

Ginebra Kings players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American forward Justin Brownlee (197-1988, college: St.John's) nailed a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds for the winning side and guard Scottie Thompson (188-1993) accounted for 23 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists. Brownlee is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American-Mexican forward Aaron Fuller (198-1989, college: USC, agency: Haylett Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 19 rebounds and naturalized American guard Michael Williams (188-1991, college: CS Fullerton) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for TNT Ka Tropa in the defeat. Five TNT Ka Tropa players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
