WLBL top team -Al Riyadi (12-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked NSA (5-9) 85-48 . Al Riyadi dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to NSA 's 24. Al Riyadi forced 26 NSA turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by NSA 's players. The former international Rebecca Akl (170-1992) fired a double-double by scoring 30 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals for the winners. The former international forward Maygen Naassan (180-2006) chipped in 19 points and 6 assists. American guard Syrita Faraj (175, college: St.Rose, NY) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and the former international Nancy Maalouf (174-1988) added 14 points respectively for lost side. NSA's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Al Riyadi . Despite that victory Al Riyadi went down to second position due to points difference. NSA lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the sixth place with nine games lost.
