Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Beirut:Al Riyadi (#1) and Antranik (#4). Al Riyadi (9-1) smashed visiting Antranik (5-5) by 32 points 87-55 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Antranik. Al Riyadi dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Antranik 's 20. Al Riyadi forced 22 Antranik turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Antranik 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Rebecca Akl (170-1992) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. American center Sarah Boothe (195-1990, college: Stanford) contributed with 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. American center Jillian Hollingshead (196-2003, college: Tennessee) replied with 20 points and 9 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Kennedi Williams (170, college: Oregon) added 12 points and 6 assists in the effort for Antranik. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first position with 9-1 record, which they share with Homentmen. Antranik at the other side dropped to the fifth place with five games lost.
