No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Sagesse (5-0) beat on the road 6th ranked NSA (2-3) 81-64 on Thursday. American players dominated the game. Power forward Cliff Alexander (203-1995, college: Kansas, agency: MSG) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and Kerwin Roach II (192-1996, college: Texas) supported him with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Sagesse's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists by point guard Isaiah Hammons (194-1997, college: MACU) did not help to save the game for NSA. Forward Anthony Fairley (203-1999, college: Miles) added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Sagesse have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Beirut Club. Newly promoted NSA dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Sagesse will meet bottom-ranked Byblos (#12) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. NSA will play against Al Riyadi (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
