Top-ranked Beirut Club blasted bottom-ranked Byblos (0-3) in Beirut 90-59 on Saturday evening keeping the perfect record after 4 rounds. Byblos is still unable to win any game. They outrebounded Byblos 53-34 including 19 on the offensive glass. Beirut Club looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Georgian guard Michael Dixon (186-1990, college: Memphis) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and Karl Kozah (192-2004) who added 15 points and 7 assists during the contest. Four Beirut Club players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Julio Guity (204-1995, college: Montevallo) responded with 7 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Ibrahim Haddad (-1998) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Beirut Club have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion (3-0) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Byblos still closes the standings with three games lost. They share the position with Homentmen and Hoops.
