Astana shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. The best player for the winners was American point guard EJ Day (180-1999, college: Lasell) who scored 34 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Lithuanian guard Adas Juskevicius (194-1989, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. American point guard Michael Mays (178-1999, college: King) produced 38 points (!!!) and the other American import forward Marty Jackson (198-2000, college: St.Leo) added 20 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Barsy Atyrau players scored in double figures. Barsy Atyrau's coach Alexandr Lyssyak rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
