Caspiy Aktau forced 24 Almaty L. turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Almaty L. 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Eric McGill (190-1996, college: SIU) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals. The other American import JP Moorman II (201-1998, college: UC Riverside) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Four Caspiy Aktau players scored in double figures. International point guard Daniil Severgin (183-2005) replied with 14 points and 6 assists and forward Nazim Adylbekov (200-2001) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Almaty L.Almaty L.'s coach Oleg Ten gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win.
