Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Al Jubaiha's players. American point guard Anthony Miles (184-1989, college: Lamar) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals. The former international guard Ashraf Al-Hendi (190-1995) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Al Wihdat players scored in double figures. American power forward Gregoryshon Magee (211-1990, college: USA) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and the former international Khaled Abuaboud (202-1997) added 10 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Al Jubaiha. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Al Wihdat's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Amman Orthodox.
