The game with biggest result difference took place in Amman. Local Al Wihdat (6-2) outscored 5th ranked Al Jubaiha (2-7) 102-56 on Monday night. Al Wihdat dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Al Jubaiha's 30. Al Wihdat forced 24 Al Jubaiha turnovers and outrebounded them 49-38 including 36 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 42 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Al Jubaiha's players. American guard Antoine Mason (191-92, college: Auburn, agency: Interperformances) stepped up and scored 25 points and 7 assists for the winners and international center Mohammad Hussein (210-90) chipped in 15 points and 13 rebounds. Mason is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Al Wihdat's coach Mo'tasem Salameh felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American power forward Gregoryshon Magee (211-90, college: USA) with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Mohammad Alabdallat scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Al Wihdat maintains third place with 6-2 record having just three points less than leader Orthodox. Al Jubaiha at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Al Wihdat's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Amman to the arena Al Ahli.
