Premier League top team - Al Ahli (9-1) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Al Jalil (0-10) in Amman 96-63. Al Ahli dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Al Jalil's 44. Al Ahli forced 20 Al Jalil turnovers and outrebounded them 48-34 including 20 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Al Jalil's players. International power forward Hashem Abbas (198, college: Bridgeport) notched a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and international guard Fadi Ibrahim (190-96, college: Tampa) supported him with 15 points, 10 assists and 5 steals. Four Al Ahli players scored in double figures. Al Ahli's coach Abdallah AbuQoura felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists by Ali Abdalrahman Zayadneh did not help to save the game for Al Jalil. Ibrahim Hamati (187-96) added 6 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side.
