Brave Warriors outrebounded Firebonds 37-23 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Brave Warriors players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Firebonds were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American center Wayne Marshall (211-1986, college: Temple) notched 22 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import Mike Daum (206-1995, college: S.Dakota St.) supported him with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Brave Warriors players scored in double figures. Even 20 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals by American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-1991, college: Pikeville) did not help to save the game for Firebonds . Egyptian-American center Patrick Gardner (211-1999, college: Marist) added 15 points and 8 assists for the guests. Firebonds' coach tested twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
