An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kariya. Second rankedDenso I. faced 3rd placed Sunshine R. . Host Denso I. (13-5) smashed guests from Aichi (11-7) 77-58 . Sunshine R. was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Ami Kimura who led her team to a victory with 18 points and 5 assists. Mai Kawai contributed with 17 points for the winners. Nanami Tsuno answered with 13 points and 6 assists and Filipino power forward Jack-Danielle Animam (190-1998) added 8 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Sunshine R.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Denso I. have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 13-5 record having just two points less than leader Toyota A. Sunshine R. lost third consecutive game.
