Quarter-Finals Round 1: Tochigi Brex - Sea Horses M. 93-81

Tochigi Brex looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American power forward Gavin Edwards (206-1988, college: UConn, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up and scored 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard DJ Newbill (193-1992, college: Penn State) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists. Four Tochigi Brex players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Davante Gardner (203-1991, college: Marquette) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Satoshi Nagano (175-1995) scored 12 points and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
