Regular Season Round 56: Kawasaki BT - Sea Horses M. 69-65

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Kanagawa where second-ranked SeaHorses (33-23) were defeated by third ranked Brave Thunders (31-25) 69-65 on Saturday. Kawasaki made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-1993, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds and the former international power forward Nick Fazekas (207-1985, college: Nevada) who added 9 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Brave Thunders' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American power forward Davante Gardner (203-1991, college: Marquette) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Greek-American center Zach Auguste (208-1993, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Brave Thunders have an impressive five-game winning streak. Despite that victory Kawasaki went down to fourth position due to points difference. Loser SeaHorses keeps the second place with 23 games lost. They share the position with Hiroshima D.. Kawasaki will meet at home league's second-placed Sea Horses M. in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Sea Horses M. will have a break next round.
