Regular Season Round 50: Kagawa FA - Okayama 80-72

Very predictable result in Takamatsu where third ranked Five Arrows (36-10) defeated 13th ranked Try Hoop (16-32) 80-72 on Sunday. Kagawa dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Try Hoop's 22. The best player for the winners was American forward Andrew Randall (198-1990, college: Temple) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import power forward Evan Ravenel (204-1989, college: Ohio St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. New Zealand forward Taane Samuel (200-1999) produced 16 points and 9 rebounds and guard Keisuke Takabatake (183-1990) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Four Okayama players scored in double figures. Five Arrows have an impressive five-game winning streak. Kagawa maintains third position with 36-10 record having four points less than leader Fukui B. Okayama lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 32 games lost. They share the position with Shinagawa. Kagawa will meet Yamaguchi (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Okayama will play against Tokushima Gam. and hope to secure a win.
