We should mention about the upset which took place in Tokyo, where higher rankedHachioji Trains (21-25) lost at home to sixteenth ranked Veertien Mie (13-34) 85-95 . It was a good game for American forward Josh Martin (201-1995, college: Santa Clara) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import guard Justin Pierce (201-1998, college: UNC, agency: Inception Sports) contributed with 33 points (!!!) for the winners. Spanish center David Doblas (208-1981) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists and Nigerian power forward Martins Igbanu (203-1997, college: Tulsa) added 23 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Tokyo. Four Tokyo players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Veertien Mie maintains sixteenth position with 13-34 record. Tokyo at the other side keeps the tenth place with 25 games lost.
