Very expected game when 7th rankedBrave Warriors (6-36) lost to third ranked Brave Thunders (23-19) in Nagano 88-92 on Wednesday. Kawasaki made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Kawasaki looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international point guard Yuma Fujii (178-1991) who led the winners and scored 29 points. The former international power forward Nick Fazekas (207-1985, college: Nevada) accounted for 18 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Guard Kaito Ishikawa (170-1990) came up with 25 points and 4 assists and American forward Justyn Mutts (201-1999, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for Shinshu in the defeat. Four Shinshu players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Kawasaki maintains third place with 23-19 record having eleven points less than leader Tochigi Brex. Shinshu lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 36 games lost.
