No shocking result in a game in Saitama where fourth rankedBroncos (27-14) defeated 16th ranked Veertien Mie (12-29) 81-71 on Saturday. Strangely Veertien Mie outrebounded Saitama 44-31 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Jordan Faison (201-1994, college: CPP) had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Nigerian-American power forward Maxie Esho (206-1991, college: UMass) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Broncos players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Damonte Dodd (211-1994, college: Maryland) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 18 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Justin Pierce (201-1998, college: UNC, agency: Inception Sports) scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Broncos have an impressive five-game winning streak. Saitama maintains fourth position with 27-14 record.
