Eighth-ranked Ibaraki R. (0-9) made lots of trouble for fifth ranked Gunma CT (4-5) on Sunday. Gunma CT managed to secure only one-point victory 67-66. However their fans expected easier game. Strangely Ibaraki R. outrebounded Gunma CT 44-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. American center Kaleb Tarczewski (212-1993, college: Arizona) stepped up and scored 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners and the former international guard Narito Namizato (172-1989) chipped in 11 points and 7 assists. Gunma CT's coach Kota Mizuno used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-1990, college: Portland St.) with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists and swingman Hayato Yamaguchi (195-1998) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds.
