Regular Season Round 4: Nishinomiya S. - Fukuoka R. 70-77

The most interesting game of round 4 in the B2 League was a home defeat of their biggest opponent Nishinomiya S. (7-2) to first ranked Fukuoka R. (8-1) 77-70 in the game for the first place. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Bryce Washington (203-1996, college: Louisiana, agency: TSEG) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Gavin Ware (206-1993, college: MSU, agency: Perpetual Sports) who added 18 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Jordan Caroline (201-1996, college: Nevada) responded with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Trey Porter (210-1996, college: Nevada) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fukuoka R. have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-1 record, which they share with Chiba. Nishinomiya S. at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. Fukuoka R. is looking forward to face Iwate (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Nishinomiya S. will play against Shiga L-Stars (#5) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
