Regular Season Round 1: Ehime OV - Fukuoka R. 75-78

A very close game took place in Matsuyama between Fukuoka R. and Ehime OV. Fukuoka R. got a very close victory on the road over Ehime OV. Fukuoka R. managed to escape with a 3-point win 78-75 on Friday evening. American forward Bryce Washington (203-1996, college: Louisiana, agency: TSEG) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Spanish Pablo Aguilar (204-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American-Filipino forward Eugene Phelps (198, college: LBSU) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Tucker Haymond (195-1994, college: W.Michigan) added 14 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Fukuoka R. will meet Shiga L-Stars on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Ehime OV will play against Yamagata and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
