Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Tokyo Z (15-44) was outplayed on the road by first ranked Saga B. (44-15) 104-69 on Saturday. Saga B. looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Tokyo Z's players. The game was also dominated by American players. Chase Fieler (202-1992, college: FGCU) stepped up and scored 22 points and 6 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and forward Terrance King (198-1990, college: ESU, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was power forward Ishmael Lane (203-1997, college: NSU) with 13 points and 9 rebounds and center David Simon (208-1982, college: PFW) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Five Saga B. and four Tokyo Z players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Saga B. maintains first place with 44-15 record, which they share with Koshigaya A. Loser Tokyo Z keeps the seventh position with 44 games lost. They share it with Kagawa FA. Saga B. will again meet at home Tokyo Z (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Tokyo Z will have a break next round.
