Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Tokyo: Koshigaya A. (#2) and Tokyo Z (#7). Tokyo Z was defeated at home 60-74 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Koshigaya A. players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Tokyo Z's players. The game was dominated by American players. It was a good game for forward Justin Harper (208-1989, college: Richmond) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Brekkott Chapman (206-1996, college: Weber St.) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Center David Simon (208-1982, college: PFW) answered with 16 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Ishmael Lane (203-1997, college: NSU) added 9 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Tokyo Z. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Koshigaya A. have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Saga B. Tokyo Z lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 40 games lost. Koshigaya A. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tokyo Z's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face again at home their local rival from Tokyo Koshigaya A..
