Regular Season Round 46: Yokohama BC - Shinshu BW 84-74

Not a big story in a game when 4th ranked Shinshu BW (20-25) was defeated on the road by second ranked Yokohama BC (28-17) 84-74 on Sunday. International guard Yuki Kawamura (169-2001) fired 24 points and 4 assists for the winners. American center Charles Jackson (208-1993, college: Tenn Tech) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Five Yokohama BC players scored in double figures. The former international forward Josh Hawkinson (208-1995, college: WSU) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and American Anthony McHenry (202-1983, college: Georgia Tech) added 19 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yokohama BC maintains second position with 28-17 record behind leader Shimane SM. Loser Shinshu BW keeps the fourth place with 25 games lost. They share the position with FE Nagoya and Osaka E.. Yokohama BC will meet Shiga L-Stars (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Shinshu BW will play against Ibaraki R. (#7) in Mito and hope to secure a win.
