No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Okayama (25-20) beat on the road 15th ranked Tachikawa (12-33) 84-79 on Saturday. Okayama made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American forward Jerome Tillman (201-1987, college: Ohio) who scored that evening 22 points and the other American import forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-1985, college: FAU) supported him with 12 points and 5 assists. Even 23 points and 4 assists by swingman Kota Akiyama (188-1996) did not help to save the game for Tachikawa. American forward Tristin Walley (201-1996, college: Arkansas St., agency: One Motive Sports) added 13 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Okayama maintains seventh position with 25-20 record. Tachikawa lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourteenth place with 33 games lost. They share the position with Yamaguchi. Okayama will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tachikawa will play again against Okayama (#7) and hope to secure a win.
