Regular Season Round 44: Shinagawa - Veertien Mie 95-99

No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Veertien Mie (16-30) beat on the road bottom-ranked Shinagawa (7-39) 99-95 on Saturday. Veertien Mie dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Shinagawa's 36. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The winners were led by American guard Tucker Haymond (198-1994, college: W.Michigan) who scored that evening 42 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Josh Martin (201-1995, college: Santa Clara) supported him with 26 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 40 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists by American forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) did not help to save the game for Shinagawa. Daiki Uematsu (187-1990) added 6 points and 13 assists for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Veertien Mie moved-up to tenth place. Loser Shinagawa stay dead last with 39 lost games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
