Regular Season Round 25: Haneda V. - Aishin AW 58-67

Rather predictable result in Tokyo where ninth ranked Aishin AW (10-15) defeated 11th ranked Haneda V. (6-17) 67-58 on Saturday. June Mineharu (171-1999) fired 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Misa Uchimaga (168-1996) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Aishin AW players scored in double figures. Swingman Takano Hashikouta (168-1995) produced 15 points and 8 rebounds and Yukino Awatsu (180-1998) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aishin AW have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain ninth place with 10-15 record. Haneda V. at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost. Aishin AW will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Haneda V. will play again against Aishin AW (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
