Regular Season Round 24: Fujitsu RW - Toyota A. 56-66

WJBL top team - Toyota A. (22-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Fujitsu RW (14-10) in Kawasaki 66-56. They outrebounded Fujitsu RW 52-33 including 23 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a quality performance of Senegalese center Sokhna Sylla (200-1997) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and the former international center Stephanie Mawuli (182-1998) who added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Rui Machida (162-1993) with 20 points, 7 assists and 4 steals and the former international power forward Yunika Nakamura (178-1995) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Toyota A. have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 22-2 record. Fujitsu RW at the other side keeps the sixth place with ten games lost. Toyota A. will play against league's second-placed Denso I. in Kariya in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fujitsu RW will play at home against Aranmare A. (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
