We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Nara where 6th ranked Bambitious N. (14-32) was defeated by seventh ranked Tokyo Z (12-34) 82-77 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American power forward Ishmael Lane (203-1997, college: NSU) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). The other American import power forward Reginald Buckner (206-1991, college: Ole Miss) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds. American-Portuguese Jeremiah Wilson (205-1988, college: Tarleton St.) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and the former international forward Naoki Uto (188-1991) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Tokyo Z maintains seventh position with 12-34 record, which they share with Kagawa FA. Loser Bambitious N. keeps the sixth place with 32 games lost. Tokyo Z will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bambitious N. will play again against Tokyo Z (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
