No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Chanson V-M (12-9) crushed 9th ranked Aranmare A. (8-13) in Akita 81-53 on Saturday. Chanson V-M made 25-of-30 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game, while Aranmare A. only scored four points from the stripe. They outrebounded Aranmare A. 54-38 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Chanson V-M looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international swingman Mai Yoshida (175-1998) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and Aina Kaneda (175-1998) accounted for 20 points and 6 rebounds. Aranmare A.'s coach Hirofumi Kojima gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Chanson V-M maintains seventh place with 12-9 record.
