Regular Season Round 40: Toyoda - Tachikawa 74-60

There was no surprise in Aichi where 14th ranked Tachikawa (11-30) was defeated by eighth ranked Toyoda (17-24) 74-60 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian center Andrew Ferguson (213-1998, college: CS Monterey) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (198-1991, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) who added 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Toyoda players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Emondre Rickman (208-1996, college: Indiana St., agency: One Motive Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Tristin Walley (201-1996, college: Arkansas St., agency: One Motive Sports) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Toyoda maintains eighth position with 17-24 record. Newly promoted Tachikawa dropped to the fifteenth place with 30 games lost. Toyoda will again meet at home Tachikawa (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tachikawa will have a break next round.
