Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked Bambitious N. (12-30) was outscored on the road by second ranked Nagasaki (29-13) 107-87 on Saturday. Nagasaki looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 21 passes made by Bambitious N.'s players. The winners were led by American forward Matt Bonds (196-1995, college: St.Michael's) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and Spanish Pablo Aguilar (203-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. Four Nagasaki players scored in double figures. Even 24 points and 7 rebounds by American guard Christian James (194-1996, college: Oklahoma) did not help to save the game for Bambitious N.. American-Portuguese Jeremiah Wilson (205-1988, college: Tarleton St.) added 14 points and 14 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Nagasaki have an impressive five-game winning streak. Newly promoted Nagasaki maintains second position with 29-13 record having six points less than leader Chiba.
