Very expected game in Tokyo where 11th ranked Haneda V. (3-15) was crushed by third ranked Denso I. (17-3) 99-65 on Friday. Denso I. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Haneda V.'s 28. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international center Maki Takada (185-1989) fired 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international center Akaho Himawari (184-1998) chipped in 13 points. Swingman Takano Hashikouta (168-1995) produced 19 points and the former international guard Nanoko Motohashi (164-1993) added 5 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Denso I.. They moved-up to second place. Haneda V. lost their eighth game in a row. They dropped to the twelfth position with 15 games lost.
