Regular Season Round 36: Tokyo HT - Tachikawa 62-72

There was a minor upset when 12th ranked Tokyo HT (12-26) was defeated at home by fifteenth ranked Tachikawa (10-28) 72-62 on Friday. The best player for the winners was American forward Tristin Walley (201-1996, college: Arkansas St., agency: One Motive Sports) who scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Ousu Mori (183-1996) chipped in 14 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Justin Baker (203-1989, college: Utah Valley) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Kodai Takahashi (180-1991) added 10 points and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Tachikawa maintains fifteenth position with 10-28 record. Tokyo HT lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 26 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
