No shocking result in a game in Okinawa where fourth ranked Ryukyu GK (27-9) outleveled 7th ranked Toyama G. (7-29) 89-65 on Sunday. They outrebounded Toyama G. 45-24 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Ryukyu GK looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Power forward Jack Cooley (206-1991, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Allen Durham (198-1988, college: Grace Christian) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Durham is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Ryukyu GK players scored in double figures. Forward Novar Gadson (201-1989, college: Rider) produced 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and guard Cody Demps (193-1993, college: Sacramento St.) added 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ryukyu GK have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Nagoya DD and Hiroshima D. Toyama G. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 29 games lost.
